Right-wing terrorist group Gruppe S.
The right-wing terrorist group Gruppe S. was founded against the backdrop of years of racist mobilization. Beginning in 2019, neo-Nazis from all over Germany joined forces and planned to carry out assassinations of Muslims, politicians, and anti-fascists. The group networked digitally, stockpiled weapons, and underwent shooting training. Gruppe S. was discovered before they were able to carry out their plans. The organizers of the Merkel-Muss-Weg rallies, Thomas G., Thorsten K. and Ralph E., took part in the group's chats, but they were not charged with being members of the right-wing terrorist group. During the trial, it was revealed that the long-time right-wing skinhead Thorsten K. functioned as an informant (V-Person) for the Hamburg State Criminal Police.
